Milne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education from the University of Southern California and has undertaken additional postgraduate coursework in early childhood education. In the early 1980s, she started producing educational recordings for children, including the album Sounds Like Fun (1984),[2][3] which was distributed by Discovery Toys.[4] Her later works include albums such as Sounds Like Learning and No Fret Alphabet[2], as well as children's books and educational games developed for classroom and home use.[5][6]
