Jasmeet Kaur Maan, better known as Barbie Maan is an Indian singer associated with Punjabi music. She started her singing career in 2018 with single "Meriyan Saheliyan". Maan is best-known for singles "Akhiyan" and "Meriyan Saheliyan". Her song "Akhiyan", featuring Mr. MNV and Preet Hundal has featured in various music charts including Global YouTube music charts.
Music career[edit]
Born in Firozpur, Punjab, Maan started her music career with single "Meriyan Saheliyan", which released in August 2018.[1] . In July 2019, she finally got her breakthrough with single "Akhiyan", released by "Gold Media Records".[2] As of May 2020, the song has been viewed over 8 million times on YouTube.[3] In May 2020, Guru Randhawa introduced her on his Social Media Platforms as singer of his new track written and composed by Guru Randhawa releasing later this year.[4]
