The firm, initially called Barnea & Co., was founded in 2003 when Micky Barnea partnered with Simon Jaffa. The firm developed a corporate law practice with cross-border elements. In 2005, Zohar Lande joined the firm and established the Litigation Department. In 2016, Dr. Zvi Gabbay joined the firm as the head of its Capital Markets and Financial Regulation Department.
In 2018, the firm changed its name to Barnea Jaffa Lande and Co.
