Basem Alian
Basem Said Mohamed Alian (born January 1, 1996) is an Egyptian male Basketball player. His height is 6' 4" (193 cm). He became an Unrestricted Free Agent in NBA on June 21, 2018, when he went undrafted.[1][2] However, another version of his height stated that he is 6’8”/202 cm and wears a number 31 uniform with the position of Power Forward.[3] Basem played for the Egyptian Team playing against Cameroon, Tunisia, and Chad between September and December 2018.[4] He also played against South Korea, Iran, Spain, Croatia, Argentina, and the United States in the National League Championship.[5]

Basem is a native of Alexandria, Al Iskandariyah in Egypt.[6]
Career
Basem Alian played basketball in the Alexandria Zone – Summer 2022 – 2 on 21 August 2022. He also played in the WT Lausanne 2021 on 20 August 2021 and in the Egypt International Tour 2020 VOL.3 Final Stop (Giza) on 14 March 2020. These competitions are all in the Open Men categories.[7] One of his top performances was in Alexandria Zone – Summer 2022 – 2 on 21 August 2022, which he played for the Alexandria Team with a ranking point of 960.[8][9]
Between 2018 and 2019, Basem played in the following seasons: World Cup Qualifiers and Arab Nations Cup. However, Basem is not in the Hall of Fame.[3] He played for U19 Egypt in the U19 World Cup in 2015 against Korea, Argentina, Tunisia, and the USA.[10]
Basem was also a member of the Egyptian Team in the African Under 18 Championship in August 2014. The Team played the final against Tunisia with a score line of 69–80 in favor of Egypt. The Team won the U18 African Championship.[11]

Basem played in the National and International championships representing his country. He was a member of the Team that won the U18 African Championship in 2014.[11]
