Basement Beats
Basement Beats is a St. Louis-based, Grammy Award-winning production company from St. Louis, MO. Best known for their collaborations with Nelly and the St. Lunatics, they have also worked with artists such as Lil Wayne, Tim McGraw, Bubba Sparxxx, and more. Basement Beats was founded in 1998 by Jason "Jay-E" Epperson, Waiel "Wally Beamin" Yaghnam, Lavelle "City Spud" Webb, and Jayson "Koko" Bridges, after being kicked out of the recording studio located in the popular skating rink called Saints. They set up their studio in the basement of Jay-E's mother and began crafting their signature sound, which would go on to sell millions of records worldwide.
