Bassam Kawas (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.) is a Lebanese Olympic middle-distance runner.[1]
Kawas made his international debut at the 1991 Summer Universiade in Shedfield in the 800 metres event.[2][3] He later represented his country in the men's 1500 meters and the men's 800 meters at the 1992 Summer Olympics. His times were a 1:58.71 and a 4:17.40.[4]
Kawas was also an accomplished cross country runner, winning the 1992 Lebanese Cross Country Championships men's race.[5]
