Bassam Shakir Ahmed (Arabic: بسام شاكر أحمد, born 17 May 2000 in Baghdad),[4][5] is an Iraqi footballer who plays as a midfielder currently plays for Al-Karkh in the Iraqi Premier League and the for Iraq national U-17 team.[6]
Club career[edit]
Bassam began his youth career at his native Al-Karkh.[7] Bassam made his debut the first team in season 2016/2017, he scored his first league goal for Al-Karkh in 16 May 2017 against Naft Maysan in the Iraqi Premier League.[8]
International career[edit]
Iraq U-17[edit]
Bassam was first called up to Iraq national under-17 team squad for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup. in 8 October 2017 he played against Mexico.[9][10]
