The Bat Out Of Hell tour or the Bat I Tour as it sometimes known was the tour from 1977-1978 promoting the 1977 "Bat Out Of Hell" album. It is notable for being the first tour featuring Meat Loaf and the Neverland Express.

Pre-Tour Show[edit]

On July 30th 1977 the Neverland Express performed a concert at the CBS Record Convention in Honolulu. They performed 2 songs[1]. A cover of the Chuck Berry song "Johnny B. Goode" and the final song from Bat Out Of Hell "For Crying Out Loud". This show is rarely included as part of the Bat Out Of Hell tour but c01.onsidered a Pre-Tour show.

Indochinese Boat Benefit (February 16th 1979)[5][edit]

On February 16th 1979 Meat Loaf played two songs with Utopia[6] at the Palladium, New York for the Indochinese Boat Benefit.
