Bath Digital Federation is a Further Education college in the centre of Bath, Somerset and was founded in 2020 by Samantha Cook and Beth Parker
About Bath Digital Federation[edit]
Bath Digital Federations aim is to empower the next generation of digital and creative leaders and raise attainment and aspirations of these young people and adults, equipping them with vocational and academic employability skills.
We will raise awareness about the technology skills gap in the UK. A growing 600,000 vacancies in digital technology are costing the country £63 billion a year. There is an urgent need for digital, creative and STEM subjects to be at the core of our national curriculum to ensure a talent pipeline for the future.
Based in the city of Bath, we are a specialist training provider that is looking to bridge the gap through industry standard vocational and academic qualifications, which will equip 16-19-year-olds, adult learners and international students to be the future digital workforce.
Through a consortium of STEM subjects we will raise digital skill levels and aid personal development. Our curriculum will offer a blend of creativity and technology (CREATECH) and be at the forefront in embracing industry practice and the best of new technologies. We will be relentlessly focused on the highest standards of teaching and learning through our delivery of Tech levels, Diplomas, A Levels and industry qualifications.
Our partnership of industry and educational leadership brings a new choice in education for families both locally and internationally. At the heart of our federation with be a robust pastoral care system to support students with academic, and social and emotional challenges.
