Batifa Sport Club is a football team based in Batifa, a district of the Duhok Governorate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The club plays in the Kurdistan Second Division League, which is managed by the Kurdistan Football Association.[1]

History

Batifa Sport Club was established in 2020 as part of a local initiative to encourage youth participation in sports within the Batifa area. Since its founding, the club has competed in regional tournaments and league competitions organized by the Kurdistan Football Association (KFA).

The team plays its home matches at Batifa Stadium in Batifa town. While still a relatively new club, Batifa SC has built a modest but loyal following and contributes to the development of grassroots football in the Kurdistan Region.

The club has actively participated in the Kurdistan football league system for the following seasons:

  • 2021–2022
  • 2022–2023
  • 2023–2024
  • 2024–2025 (current season)

League Participation

Batifa SC competes in the Kurdistan Second Division League, the third tier of football in the Kurdistan Region. The team has also participated in various local friendlies and youth tournaments within the Duhok area.
