The Battinews is a Tamil-language news website in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. It was founded in 2011[1]. It is Registred in Department Of Government Information in 2014 [2]
A police case was filed against journalist including a battinews journalist, during the 2021 protest by tamil politician , the restraining order has also been served on TNA MP’s from Batticaloa Shanakiyan Rasamanickam and Kovindam Karunakaram..[3] [4]
