The Battle of Col was fought in 1944 between Serbian Volunteer Corps and Slovenian partisans. The SDK launched an attack on 18 December and successfully captured Col.
Background
Serbian Volunteer Corps was involved in battles against the Slovenian partisans in the end of November in areas towards Snežnik or in the Vipava Valley which was unpleasant for the partisans in this zone who were already suffering constant pressure from German police forces. This battles were far less intensive comparing those the SDK had in Serbia.[1]
Battle
The first large action SDK had against Slovenian partisans was capturing Col which was under partisan control. This action was carried out on December 18 and SDK successfully captured Col.[1][2]
Aftermath
Battles in these areas continued until the end of 1944 which led to casualties on both sides.
