In the Battle of Pichuna, 10,000 Mughal forces were led by Nilkanth (the deputy governor of Agra)[2] against 6,000 soldiers led by Raja Muhkam Singh Sinsinwar of Thun and Thakur Shardul Singh of Pathena.[2] Nilkanth was killed during the battle,[1][3] ultimately a failed attempt by the Mughal to re-establish themselves.
