Battle of Tuulos
Battle of Tuulos[edit]
The Battle of Tuulos (Finnish: Tuuloksen taistelu) was a significant conflict between Finland and the Soviet Union during the Continuation War of 1941, as part of the Finnish effort to reconquer Ladoga Karelia. The Finnish 23rd Infantry Regiment, under effective leadership, managed to breach Soviet defenses and destroy key Soviet artillery and supply lines, encountering minimal resistance. The Finnish Air Force provided crucial support by bombing Soviet positions and aiding the ground troops.
