Battlegrounds Mobile India is an upcoming online multiplayer battle royale game announced by Krafton. It is the official Indian mobile version of the original game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, relaunched following the earlier ban on the game in 2020 by the Government of India.[1] The game is set to release in 2021, with pre-registration to the game available since May 18 on Google Play Store.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is developed by the South Korean video game holding company Krafton, the developer of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.[2] The logo of the upcoming game was revealed on May 7, 2021 on Battlegrounds Mobile India's official YouTube Channel.[3] Bollywood Actor Arshad Warsi has also appeared on their YouTube Channel for promoting the pre-registration event.
