Battling Boy is a film project in development as of 2016, based on the comic book of the same name.
Plot[edit]
After the death of legendary hero/protector Haggard West, the demi-god Battling Boy descends from his mountain-top home to rid the continent-sized city of Monstropolis of a plague of beasts and Haggard’s vengeful daughter Aurora.

In 2009, Paramount Pictures and Plan B Entertainment will produce a live-action/CGI hybrid adaptation of Battling Boy with Alex Tse set to write the film and Brad Pitt’s Plan B team producing with Paramount exes Eben Davidson, Andrew Calof, and Peter Kang will oversee the film.[1] On May 13, 2010, Paramount hired David Gordon Green and Josh Parkinson to rewrite the script and with the possibility for Green to direct.[2] On July 29, 2015, Paramount hired Patrick Osborne to direct the film.[3] On January 6, 2016, Paramount hired Jason Mantzoukas to write the film.[4]
