Bauxite Junction, Arkansas
Bauxite Junction is an unincorporated area in Saline County, Arkansas, United States. It is named for a rail junction serving alumina traffic. A rail yard was constructed in the area to serve the rail traffic. It is near Bauxite, Arkansas and Bryant, Arkansas. It is served by the Bauxite Public School District. The Bauxite and Northern Railway has operated fright service in the area since 1906.[1] The railway connects a pair of shortline tracks to the junction[2] including an Almatis plant.[3]
