Bayu Aji (born 31 January 2000) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Liga 1 club Arema.[1]
Early life
Bayu was born in Malang and joined the youth academy of Bali United Youth as a youth player.
Club career
Bayu started his career with NZR Sumbersari.[2] Bayu joined Liga 1 club Arema on 21 January 2023 after trialing.[3] He debuted during a 1–1 draw with Persis Solo.[4] However, instead of his main position as a centre-back, he played as a right-wing back.[5]
Style of play
Bayu can operate as a defender or midfielder.[6]
