Beam Furr

Beam Furr is the mayor of Broward County, Florida. He previously served as vice-mayor and was a commissioner for 12 years. He was a schoolteacher before entering politics.[1]

He was endorsed by the Sun Sentinel in August 2018.[2] In 2018 he supported a penny sales tax increase.[3]

He succeeded Barbara Sharief as mayor.[4]
