Bearss Groves

Bearss Groves is an iconic farmers' market located in the Lake Magdalene area of Hillsborough County, Florida. It was opened in 1993 by Marty Bearss, a Tampa-based citrus grower.[1] The market sits on 7 acres of farmland, all of which is owned by the Bearss family. In 2019, Bearss Groves was involved in multiple lawsuits against Hillsborough County over a lack of site development plans and building permits.[2][1]
