Iraqi actress Malayeen Karim (Arabic: (ملايين كريم[1] and her daughter Maha (Arabic: مها) a PhD student at the University of Sheffield [2] are the content creator behind the YouTube channel BeautywithMaha which includes beauty tips involving homemade treatments and product reviews [3] [4]. [5]
How BeautywithMaha began[edit]
Malayeen was born in Basra. She had her daughter Maha in Baghdad, Iraq on 20/08/1992. They moved to Lebanon and then to Sweden where Maha completed primary school. Maha went to Sherborne School for Girls, a boarding school in England. She completed her GSCEs and A-levels at Notting Hill and Ealing High School in London. She got her MSc in Biomaterials and regenerative medicine from The University of Sheffield, where she's currently completing her PhD. In 2014, Maha joined her mother to film the hit Iraqi comedy show Swechat family[6] where she began to gain popularity on social media. She then decided to create a Youtube channel
which includes beauty tips and product reviews [7].
