Becamex IDC Corporation (Investment and industrial development corporation , Investment and Industrial Development Corporation - JSC) is a multi-industry company headquartered in Binh Duong, Vietnam.
History
Founded in 1976 under the name of Ben Cat General Trading Company (Becamex) with the main function of purchasing and processing agricultural products, and distributing consumer goods.
In 1992, with the consent of the People's Committee of Song Be province , Ben Cat General Trading Company merged with provincial companies (under the management of the People's Committee of Song Be province ). The official name is Song Be Import-Export Trading Company (Becamex).
After Binh Duong province was divided and re-established from Song Be in 1997 , in order to match the new trend and to express its large field of activity, in 1999 the company officially changed its name to Cong. Investment and Development Company (BECAMEX Corp)
On April 28, 2006, according to Decision No. 106/2006 / QD-UBND of the People 's Committee of Binh Duong province, Investment and Industrial Development Company (Becamex IDC Corp) was established on the basis of arrangement and reorganize the company's trading - investment and development activities .
On January 19, 2010, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung signed Official Letter No. 151 / TTg-ĐMDN , Becamex IDC Industrial Development and Investment Corporation transformed into Investment and Industrial Development Corporation operating under the holding company subsidiaries in which the parent company is a one-member limited liability company. During its formation and development, the corporation has merged, invested and formed member companies. Up to now, the company has 28 member companies operating in many fields.

- VSIP I ( Thuan An , Binh Duong ) is formed on the basis of friendship and economic cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore, is the Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet was first proposed to Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong in March 1994 . The project was officially launched on January 31, 1996 in Singapore . Following that, May 14, 1996 . The groundbreaking ceremony of VSIP I took place under the witness of the Prime Ministers of the two countries at that time ( Vo Van Kiet and Goh Chok Tong ).
