Becoming Jiff is an American comedy web television series, created by Forrest Silvers and Tyler Silvers (collectively referred to as the Silvers brothers), that premiered on October 3, 2018 on Prime Video. The series was distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films,[1] with Forrest Silvers serving as director and writer, and Tyler Silvers as executive producer and lead actor.[2]
BuzzFeed ranked it as one of the top 5 shows to watch on Amazon Prime Video, calling it "A funny, sweet, and highly binge-able comedy".[3]
The Film Stage said, "Thankfully, a number of talented emerging writer-directors are here to take up the comedy mantle. One such promising duo is Forrest and Tyler Silvers."[4]
Premise[edit]
Jiff is a recently single 20-something in a dead-end job, who's given the opportunity of a lifetime when he mistakenly gets a new phone number that belongs to New York City's Greatest Ladies Man, "Alejandro Alejandro." This leads Jiff on a hilarious, poignant, and unpredictable journey of self-discovery.[5]
