Beechcroft Developments

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Beechcroft is a retirement property developer based in the UK and operating across the southern counties of England.[1]. With a head office in Wallingford, the company currently has developments in Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey and Kent. Most Beechcroft developments are for the over-55s, but the company's Special Projects Division builds some schemes that have a minimum age for residents of 16 and some properties that are available on the open market. An estate management service operates on each development. Beechcroft is a member of the Retirement Housing Group [2]

History

Beechcroft Developments was established more than 35 years ago and today operates a head office in Wallingford, Oxfordshire [3]. The company's portfolio includes 15 current and forthcoming sites[4].

Operations

Beechcroft's completed retirement communities and developments are managed by a management company, and properties may be sold on the open market without resale fees. The new buyers, however, will need to be over 55 to live on a new retirement scheme or sign the covenant restricting full-time residency to the over-16s.
