Beeneedi Krishnaiah
Beeneedi Krishnaiah (born 1 June 1952) is an Indian writer, poet, novelist from the state of Andhra Pradesh. He was bestowed with titles like Akshara Tapaswi, Navyaandhra PadaKavitha Pithamahudu and GruhaVastu Praveena.
Early life and education[edit]
Beeneedi Krishnaiah was born on 1 June 1952 to Beeneedi PedaKotaiah and Raghavamma in Tangutur, of Prakasam District. He attended his early schooling in Tangutur. Later he completed B.A from Andhra University and M.A. from Acharya Nagarjuna University. He is a retired employee of Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Response and Fire Services Department (APSDR and FSD). He has been contributing enormously to Telugu Literature since 1972.[1]

- Sahiti Award from PottiSriRamulu Telugu ViswaVidyalayam for DharmaYagnam Natika in 1996, presented by then Home Minister Sri M. MadhavaReddy.[4]
- 'KalaJagathi' Best Writer Award in Kakinada in 1998, presented by Telugu Movie Writer-Producer-Director Sri Jandhyala.
- Gold Medal for 'StreeMedham' at the International Theater, Olympiad - Cuttack, participated by 13 countries.
- Performed KavithaGanam at 'Prapancha Telugu Samakhya'. Felicitated by ex-Governor Dr.Bezawada Gopala Reddy.
- Performed KavithaGanam and felicitated at 'Akhila Bharata Telugu Mahasabhalu' in Mumbai.
- Best Writer for three consecutive years was conferred on him at Allahabad Natya Sangh - Allahabad in National Multi lingual writers Competitions.
