Development
On July 22, 2021, Apple TV+ was set to produce the film adaptation of Judith Heumann’s memoir “Being Heumann” with Sian Heder writing, directing and producing the film along with David Permut, John W. Beach, Kevin Cleary, Kristen Joiner and Heumann.[1]
Casting
On July 22, 2021, Ali Stroker was in talks to portray Heumann.[1]
