Belarusian Canadian Alliance

Belarusian Canadian Alliance was founded in 1948 to represent the Belarusian-Canadian community before the people and Government of Canada[1]. The mission of Belarusian Canadian Alliance is to preserve Belarusian cultural and historical heritage and promote Belarusian language, as well as support and facilitate democratic change in Belarus.

Belarusian Canadian Alliance has 2 active chapters in Toronto and Ottawa with two new chapters expected in Winnipeg and Montreal. The head office is located in Toronto, Ontario.

According to the 2016 Census, there are just under 21,000 Canadians of Belarusian origin living in Canada, making the diaspora the fifth-largest Belarusian population after Russia, Ukraine, Poland, and USA.
