SUMMARY[edit]
Bella Gaspar is a defender for the Arizona State Women's Lacrosse Team. Originally from Vancouver, BC, Canada, Bella and her twin sister Gigi Gaspar were breakout stars for the Sun Devils in their freshmen seasons. Bella started all 16 games for the Sun Devils and was named to the PAC-12 All Conference first team (only non senior/graduate to make the team). The twins grew up playing box lacrosse and boys lacrosse which is a main contributor to their success thus far at the division 1 level.
CAREER[edit]
FRESHMAN (2021):
- Started in all 16 of the Sun Devils games during their condensed season as a Midfielder
- Caused a season high of 3 Turnovers in the Sun Devils win over Oregon (3/26/21)
- Had 43 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers
- PAC-12 All-Conference First Team
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:
- Competed for club Team BC, where she has had success at several national tournaments
- Displayed leadership tendencies, leading her to be named captain of several of her teams at the prep level
- Captain of a Team BC club that placed 2nd at the U19 Canadian National Tournament
- Captain of a Team BC club that placed 2nd at the U19 Canadian National Tournament
- 2019 Sandstorm Lacrosse Festival Champion
- 2019 Oregon 7v7 Tournament Champion
- An accomplished Box Lacrosse player, as she was an assistant captain of her high school team and was named BC Box Lacrosse Provincial Finals MVP
- Also named a captain of her high school varsity basketball and soccer teams
- Helped her team win the 2019 BC Provincial AA High School Soccer Champion
- Well-rounded individual who is active in her community and committed in the classroom
- A member of her school's Student Council all four years, eventually elected as President
- GPA in the 90th-percentile of her grade
EDUCATION[edit]
Bella Gaspar studies mechanical engineering at Arizona State University. Awarded to the Dean's List in the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 Semester.
