Belonesox odysseus
From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki
Belonesox odysseus is an extinct species of pike topminnow from the Eocene of North America.
Description[edit]
B. odysseus was a fast freshwater fish that preyed on fish, like Belonesox belizanus. It was faster than a swordfish but slower than a sailfish. Like the modern piranha and the extinct Piranhamesodon, it had sharp, serrated teeth highly reminiscent of a piranha.
It attacked other fish. Here are the steps:
- It finds and spots the fish's home.
- It swims inside the fish's house.
- It attacks the fish with its venom.
It resembled the pike topminnow.
