Beltail Union is a traditional area of ​​Shahjadpur Upazila on the west side of Karatoya River. Beltail Union is a populated area under Shahjadpur Upazila of Sirajganj District. It has an area of 32.16 km2. The population is about 41244 people. 95% Muslims in Beltail Union, 5% other religions. 70% people depend on agriculture, weaving. Different types of vegetables including rice, jute, potato, mustard are grown here.
