Benjamin Myerow Bloom is an American football coach who currently serves as the Defensive line coach for the Cleveland Browns.^[1]

Playing career

Bloom played Center for Tufts from 2002–2005.^[2] While at Tufts, Bloom played under longtime coach Bill Samko. Following graduation, Bloom was hired as a graduate assistant and defensive line coach for Tufts while pursuing his Master's degree.^[3]

Coaching career

Following his time at Tufts, Bloom was hired as an assistant defensive line coach by Harvard.^[4] Bloom made his breakthrough to the National Football League after being hired by the Cleveland Browns.^[4] In 2011, Bloom was hired by the Dallas Cowboys as an Assistant linebackers coach and a Defensive quality control coach. Bloom would remain with the Cowboys for almost a decade, serving in a variety of roles.^[5] Following his time in Dallas, Bloom returned to Cleveland to work under coach Kevin Stefanski. Following stints as a Senior defensive assistant and run game coordinator, Bloom was promoted to defensive line coach.^[6]
