Ben Mears (character)

Ben Mears is a fictional character and the main protagonist of Stephen King's 1975 horror novel 'Salem's Lot. The character is a writer who has returned to Jerusalem's Lot, the town of his birth, to write his next novel, only to discover that the residents are becoming vampires.
