Benidorm series 9
The eight series of the ITV television series Benidorm, which is a sitcom set in an all-inclusive holiday resort (The Solana) in Benidorm, Spain, began broadcasting on 1 March 2017, consisting of nine episodes.[1] The entire series was directed by Sandy Johnson and written by Derren Litten.[2][3] Returning from the eight series were the family consisting of Billy (Steve Edge), Sheron (Julie Graham), Rob (Josh Bolt), Jodie (Honor Kneafsey) and Billy's father Eddie (Bobby Knutt), whereas Kate Fitzgerald was introduced as Loretta Chase, Sheron's mother; mother, son and daughter Noreen (Elsie Kelly), Geoff "The Oracle" Maltby (Johnny Vegas) and Pauline Maltby (Selina Griffiths); homosexuals Kenneth Du Beke (Tony Maudsley) and Troy Ramsbottom (Paul Bazely); troublemakers Tiger Dyke (Danny Walters) and Joey Ellis (Nathan Bryon); and Solana staff Mateo Castellanos (Jake Canuso), Les/Lesley Conroy (Tim Healy), Sam Wood (Shelley Longworth), Neville (Simon Greenall) and manageress Joyce Temple-Savage (Sherrie Hewson).[4][5].
