Benjamin "Bud" Spires
Benjamin "Bud" Spires (May 20, 1931 – May 20, 2014) was an American blues harmonica player from Bentonia, Mississippi. He was the son of blues singer and guitarist Arthur "Big Boy" Spires. In 1971, Testament Records published his record It Must Have Been The Devil, on which he collaborated with the blues singer and guitarist Jack Owens. He had an appearance in the 1992 blues documentary film, Deep Blues: A Musical Pilgrimage to the Crossroads, by Robert Mugge.
