Benjamin Cristina née Jäcklin (born 29 April 1981 in Leipzig, Germany) is an award-winning[1][2][3] German composer and videographer.
In 2019, he published his latest instrumental solo album "On a journey to...", which is a collection of songs from the last 10 years. Cristina’s catalogue reflects deeply personal and creative responses to his times. In 2019, amidst the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic, he released The World Is Temporarily Closed as a form of artistic solace. Two years later, in 2021, he paid homage to his musical inspiration with the single Time, a tribute to the legendary Hans Zimmer. Most recently, in 2025, he composed the original soundtrack for the stage production An Island In The Stormy Sea, Sam Kioni Roberts’ contemporary adaptation of William Shakespeare's The Tempest, performed at the English Theatre Leipzig[4] (Neues-Schauspiel-Leipzig), where Cristina also acted as Composer and Sound Designer.
