Benjamin Males
Benjamin Males (born 9 October 1982 in Croydon, Greater London) is a British designer[1] and technology entrepreneur[2] specializing in bridging science and art.
Males is the co-founder of Studio XO, a creative technology company specializing in wearable technology for music artists and brands.[3] Studio XO's first major project was with the Black Eyed Peas, developing display costumes for the band's "Beginning" tour.[4]
Males worked with Lady Gaga in the development of Volantis, the flying dress.[5] In 2016, Males worked with Lady Gaga on her David Bowie tribute performance at the Grammy awards.[6]
In 2017, Studio XO launched 2415, a Gen-Z focused app-connected fashion brand based around a novel Bluetooth connected fibre optic system.[7]
Recently, Males worked with BMW to create the BMW X6 Vantablack car.[8]
