Benjamin McLean
Benjamin McLean (born 26 December 1981) is a sports attorney and retired British modern pentathlete.
McLean represented Great Britain in Modern Pentathlon from 1996 - 2008, competing in European and World Championships.[1]. McLean's highest placing in international competition was 7th in the 2005 World Cup Final [2], one place behind double Olympic champion Andrei Moiseev. McLean was a strong swimmer and runner, but notably weaker in the other events. McLean was a teammate and former flatmate of Olympic medalist Kate Allenby.
After failing to qualify for the 2008 Beijing Olympics[3], McLean retired as a modern pentathlete and trained as a sports attorney. McLean currently works as an attorney for the NBA[4]
