Benjamin Nathan Palmer (born 1999)[1] is an American student at Utah State University and a staff assistant at the United States House of Representatives.
Biography
Palmer was born and raised in Sanpete County, Utah. He attended North Sanpete High School.[1] He represented his school as the Science Sterling Scholar. [2] He is a proud high school graduate.
Palmer grew up on a farm in Sanpete County. He has recalled fondly his childhood, noting the impact his small-town upbringing has had on his perspective on life. Palmer was a member of the North Sanpete High School Swim[3], Tennis[4], and Cross Country[5] teams. He lettered 4 times in Tennis, 2 times in Swim, and 3 times in Cross Country. After graduating from high school, Palmer served as a volunteer missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Toronto, Canada. His first foray into politics was for Congressman Blake Moore, of Utah's 1st congressional district.
Palmer has been a small business consulting intern at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, a venture capital analyst and associate at Sorenson Impact, an investment banking summer analyst at Logan Growth Advisors, a warehouse associate at Stander Inc., and a graphic design contractor for CentraCom.
Personal Life
Palmer lives in Utah with his wife Lauren Palmer. They were married in January 2021.[6]
Palmer and his family have owned over a dozen dogs, porch cats, a couple horses, a milk cow, and several dozen head of cattle. He is an intermediate Civilization VI player.
Palmer is a noted critic of the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan regime.
