Benjamin Robert Sanvee (born August 18, 1981, Monrovia, Republic of Liberia) is a Liberian-American government affairs strategist, senior policy advisor, and public sector executive. He is the Chairman and Founder of Axis Prime Partners, a strategic advisory and consulting firm based in Washington D.C. and Accra, Ghana. He is best known for his service as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the Vice President of Liberia, a role he held from 2018 to 2024, and for his tenure as National Party Chairman of the Liberty Party.

Career

National Youth Advisor to the President of Liberia (1998–2000)

At the age of 17, Benjamin Sanvee was appointed as the First National Youth Advisor to the President of Liberia, a position he held from 1998 to 2000 under President Charles Taylor. 2014 Liberian Senate campaign

In December 2014, Sanvee contested the Montserrado County senate seat in a special election held on December 16, running as the endorsed candidate of the Liberty Party. He placed third among 13 candidates in a highly competitive race. His principal opponents included George Weah — the legendary Liberian footballer, FIFA World Player of the Year (1995), and two-time presidential candidate — and Robert Sirleaf, son of then-President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. The election was ultimately won by George Weah, who went on to become the President of Liberia, serving from 2018 to 2024.
