Bent 101 is an Australian short form comedy series that will premiere on the Seven Network on May 29th 2017 on 7flix. The series is also streamed via Plus7, the Catch up TV service.
Plot[edit]
When broke & naïve Sammy takes on full time care of her grandmother, this cunning, politically-incorrect senior citizen turns Sammy into a hapless criminal.
Production[edit]
The series was filmed around inner west Sydney in January 2017; and was picked up for broadcast on 7flix and streaming on Plus7 for the Seven Network. It is the only comedy series currently broadcasting in Australia on a commercial free-to-air network, that is solely helmed by female showrunners. The show's director and creator, Jane Eakin, was formerly a Creative Director at Network Ten for many years.
