Bert Wollersheim
Bert Wollersheim (March 24, 1951) is a German bordello owner and became famous for his contributions in the Düsseldorf red-district milieu since the 1970s. He gained prominence to a broader audience through TV appearences and his own docu soap called "Die Wollersheims – Eine schrecklich schräge Familie!" on the German channel RTL II.
Personal life
Wollersheim grew up in a village called Heimerzheim where he was taught by his father to be a barber. In 1969 he moved to Düsseldorf[1] where he worked as a barber for stars like Dieter Thomas Heck and Rex Gildo. This is also how he made his first encounters with red-light district patrons like Heinrich Schäfer.[2]
His first club called "Darlings" was opened in 1976.[3] Since the 1980s he is owner of "The Red Mile" bordello in Düsseldorf[4] and a stretch limousine rental since the 1990s.[5] He was imprisoned for abduction and blackmail in the mid-1990s because he had kidnapped a prostitute who did not want to continue working for him.[6]
Wollersheim was subject of two documentaries of the channels WDR Fernsehen and DSF.[7] He was also part of the show Das perfekte Promi-Dinner in 2009.[8][9] Two years later the channel RTL II aired the docu soap Die Wollersheims – Eine schrecklich schräge Familie! about his person and his family.[10][11][12]
He was sent to prison again in 2012 as part of a large-scale police-raid.[13][14]
After the eviction of the bordellos the premises were sold to a different company in which he functioned as a consultant[15] while his old company declared bankruptcy due to tax liabilities of 7.5 million euros in 2013.[16][17]
In the fall of 2014 he opened a new big bordello called "FKK-Club Oceans"[18] and advises the renovation of the Laufhäuser in Oberhausen.[19][20]

In September 2012 the documentary The Last Pimp - Bert Wollersheim - Die wahre Geschichte aired which shows the years from 2004 and 2007.[21][22]
