Besi Zeka KBE OMRI (born July 3, 1986) is a Visual Effects Artist. He is a visual effects artist and digital compositor specializing in work for film and television. Besi has received a degree in Animation and Visual Effects from The Los Angeles Film School.
He is known for his work on feature films like Transformers 4, TESLAFY ME, I Survived a Zombie Holocaust, Alone, etc., and he is also known for his work on commercials such as Nike, Alfa Romeo, and INFINITI. Early life
Besi Zeka was born on July 3, 1986 in Peje, Kosovo. Besi lived with his mother, brother, and three sisters in Peje, and his father worked and lived in Pristina. In 1999, he moved to Pristina with his family to live with his father. His first elementary school was "Ramiz Sadiku" in Peje, and he continued his education at "Naim Frasheri" school in Pristina. For high school, he chose "Xhevdet Doda" school, known as the best and toughest school in Kosovo. Besi was never satisfied with his education in his town; he always wanted to go to the USA to continue his education and pursue his dream, but he was waiting for his chance. Since he was young, he has been passionate about movies, especially animated movies. He always created graphics and tried to figure out how Hollywood made movies. When he grew up, he studied Graphic Design, but he was not satisfied and dropped out of two universities. Afterward, he opened his Graphic Design studio with his best friend, but he still wasn't satisfied; he wasn't happy doing that. His dream was calling him. So, finally in 2009, he decided to move to Hollywood to study 3D Animation and Visual Effects at The Los Angeles Film School; he left his country to pursue his dream.
Career
He opened his first studio to express his artwork in graphic design as a young artist in Pristina, Kosovo. His studio did pretty well, but he was never satisfied living there and had a dream: to study animation and one day become an artist who worked in Hollywood films. So, he decided to close his studio and move on. In 2009, he went to Hollywood to pursue his dream of becoming a 3D artist. While a student, he participated in some films assisting his teachers, and after graduating from The Los Angeles Film School, he got a call to work on an INFINITI car commercial. His career began in the commercial industry, leading him into the Hollywood industry. He worked on many feature films and commercials such as: Transformers, Teslafy Me, Ara, I Survived a Zombie Holocaust, Alone, Nike, Alfa Romeo, INFINITI, etc.
