Betsy Sullenger is an executive producer and television and film writer.[1][2][3][4] Sullenger’s work as an executive producer includes all four seasons of the hit Disney Channel original Liv and Maddie.[5] She also was a producer on the Paramount Pictures film Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse and was a co-producer on the Disney film You Again, starring Kristen Bell, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Betty White.[citation needed]

Early life[edit]

Betsy Sullenger lived in Upper St. Clair in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When she was ten, her family moved to Tennessee.

Career[edit]

Sullenger moved to Los Angeles in 1995, landing a job at Paramount Pictures as a comedy writer.[2] After working at Paramount, she spent ten years working at Middle Fork Productions, where she began overseeing the production of films. She was the associate producer and oversaw development on the teenage comedy Who's Your Daddy?. Sullenger also worked as a post-production executive on the comedy Vacuums. Other productions include the PBS documentary Good Rockin’ Tonight: The Legacy of Sun Records, the hit horror film Anaconda (film) and its sequel, Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid, the award-winning musical Sneaux!, and the award-winning short film Mexican Hat.[2] Now, Sullenger works with her partner, director Andy Fickman, at their production company Oops Doughnuts Productions.[2][6][4]

Since producing at Oops Doughnuts[7], she has worked on the films She’s the Man starring Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum, You Again[5] starring Kristen Bell, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Betty White, and Parental Guidance (film) starring Billy Crystal and Bette Midler. While working at Oops Doughnuts, Sullenger has also worked as an executive producer on digital projects, including Internet Icon[5] and the comedy Lovin’ Lakin], starring Christine Lakin.
