Betsy Weatherhead is a climate scientist, government official, and professor in the United States.[1] She has studied climate change.[2] She was appointed by U.S. president Donald Trump in 2020 to head the climate review.[3] His successor, president Joe Biden removed her from the position in April 2021.

She worked in the private sector for Jupiter Intelligence. At the University of Colorado she studied climate change in the Arctic and climate forecast modeling.[4]
