History
Better HR software was initially created in 2018 as an internal management tool for the digital consulting firm Nexlabs, spinning off in September 2019 after receiving a six-figure seed round from Seed Myanmar Ventures.[1] In November 2021, Better HR raised another six-digit bridge round from existing investors and Blibros AB.[citation needed]
The software company is headquartered in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma).[2] As of November 2021, over 200 companies across Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam have adopted Better HR software to manage over 35,000 employees and process over $2M worth of salaries each month, according to a report by E27.[3]
In September 2021, Ye Myat Min, Chairman of Better Technologies PTE, passed day-to-day operations and growth responsibilities to Myo Zaw Hein as the CEO of the company.[4]
