Betterworth

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Betterworth is a Canadian computer software company providing a cognitive artificial intelligence (AI) platform for the financial services industry..[1][2] The company was founded by David Hosey and Kate Kim in January 2018[3]. Its products and services aim to bridge the information gap between financial advisers and clients to create more productive, meaningful, and engaging relationships [4]

Projects[edit]

Betterworth is undergoing a project with Mitacs on behavioural finance profiling for financial advisors and clients.[5] The project is in collaboration with the Big Data Research Lab (BDRL) at the University of Waterloo and Tao Chen, an associate professor and a senior research fellow at the University of Waterloo.[6] The primary objective of the study is to demonstrate Betterworth's value proposition to financial institutions. The proposition is that using the platform will make financial advisors more efficient, enabling financial advisors to maintain more clients, cut operational costs, target better solutions, sell additional products and boost customer lifetime value (CLV). The platform will be able to make a specific and personalized recommendation on products and services that the client needs and present financial advice in their desired mode of communication and engagement. This will, in turn, increase the client's likelihood of accepting the recommendations, which would provide longer and engaging sales cycles beneficial to financial institutions.[7]
