Bewnans Alysaryn
Bewnans Alysaryn (1941) is a modern Cornish miracle play written and published under the auspices of the Gorseth Kernow written by Peggy Pollard (under her bardic name Arlodhes Ywerdhon, Lady Ireland) and printed by James Lanham, St Ives in 1941. Recognised by a leading Bard of Cornwall, Caradar, as a major contribution to the Cornish language revival.[1] It won the Gorsedd prize for drama in 1940.
