Beyond Failure (2018) is a motivational short film based on the sensitive subject of student suicides.[1] Based in a year when board exams will resume in India, the movie attempts to draw the attention of children and parents alike towards the larger goals of life, and urges the audience to think beyond the immediate.[2]
Plot
The movie revolves around a young student, confronted by the adverse outcome of poor academic performance. Lost hopes and individuality, loneliness, and a sense of deprivation push her to consider taking the extreme step of suicide. However, a fortunate encounter with a stranger led to her connecting with her inner self. A newfound passion for dance and a new perspective on the world helped the lost soul rediscover herself and redefine her future.
