Early Life[edit]
Bhagirath Bhatt was born in Jamnagar, Gujarat where he completed his schooling and graduation. After completing his graduation he went to M.S.U, Baroda, Gujarat for his masters where he did Masters in Performing Arts ( Sitar Instrument ) with Gold Medal.
Like many successful people his first inspiration and mentor was his father. His father diligently and profeciently taught him tabla and vocals eversince he was eight. From the tender age of 8 to adolescne age of 13 he learnt the craft from Shree Chetan Bhai Shashtri in Jamnagar itself. Then he moved to Mumbai at age of 13 and horned his craft under Ustad Abdul Halim Jafer Khan Saheb till the age of 17 and he has continued enhancing his skills under Ustad Asad Khan Ji of Mewati Gharana.
Career[edit]
Now after 15 long years of learning and playing sitar Bhagirath is very successful and well known Sitarist. He has played many prestigious Classical sitar solo concerts. He has also played in many bollywood movies, South Indian Movies, Gujarati movies.
Bhagirath has worked with legendary Music Director A.R Rahman, Amit Trivedi, Shankar Mahadevan etc.
Also, Bhagirath Bhatt has done live shows all around the world including USA, UK, Canada, Switzerland, Oman, Dubai, Mauritius etc.
