Bhakharwadi (TV Show)
Bhakarwadi is a light-hearted comedy TV Show broadcast on Sony SAB from February 2019. Two neighbouring families in Pune have bitter relations as they have different ideologies and they are each other's competitors in business. However, things get complicated when their children fall in love.[1][2]. As of July 2019, the show aired over 100 episodes.[3]
The filming of the show began on 2 January 2019. It is created by Jamnadas Majethia (JD Majethia) and Aatish Kapadia. The show airs on SAB tv from Monday to Friday at 10:30 pm IST.[4] The creators are known for their previous popular shows like Khichadi and Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.[5][6]
Plot[edit]
The plot revolves around the two neighbours set in Pune; the Gujarati Takkar family and the Maharashtrian Gokhale family. Both family are competitors in businesses and produce the Indian spicy snack delicacy bakarwadi; from which the show derives its name.
